BLOCK PRINT CURTAIN ~ Authentic Sanganeer hand block printed curtain panel. Measures approximately 46 inches wide x 88 inches long and has a 2 inch rod pocket. Made of 100% quality power-loom cotton offering a smooth tight weave. All panels are sold individually, duplicates are available. They are colorfast, pre-shrunk and can be machine washed on cool/gentle and tumble dried. Wonderful Mandala design traditional in Sanganeer style on fire engine red background with jade green, tangerine and black accenting colors. Hand block printing is an ancient technique going back thousand of years. It is an art using hand carved wooden blocks dipped in dye or wax and then repeatedly pressed onto the fabric by hand to create a pattern. It is the oldest and slowest form of textile printing known to man and has remained ever popular throughout the centuries.
