BLOCK PRINT TABLECLOTH ~ Moroccan style hand block printed tablecloth. Made of 100% power-loom cotton and measures approx. 70 inches across. Colors are deep indigo blue and olive green on a beige background. They can be machine washed separately on cool gentle and tumble dried. The art of hand block printing dates back thousands of years and is the oldest and slowest form of textile printing known to man. The design is created by dipping hand carved wooden blocks into the dye and then pressing the blocks by hand onto the fabric in a repeated fashion until the entire cloth has been covered. Many of our tablecloths have matching napkins and placemats for a great ensemble. The slight irregularities are common characteristics of the art and are in no way to be considered defects.
